Future continuous designates action that will be in progress (continuing) at the specified moment in the future.
Once again, the simplest form of any Turkic tense is that for pronouns "he/she". So, have a look at the suffixes corresponding to these pronouns first. Other pronouns, require an additional suffix.

| Although technically this tense can be formed in Tatar using the same structure as in Turkish, we are not aware of any example of such usage in practice. We therefore did not include it in the structures and examples sections. However, you can easily build the examples by following the rule for Turkish, such as: kile bulaçaqmın-geliyor olacağım-I will be coming. If you encounter such a usage, please let us know. A substitution of this tense in Tatar, might be built by using Participle II of the verb and appending "toraçaqmın" as the auxiliary verb: kilíp toraçaqmın. We will cover participles later on. For now: in Tatar Participle II is formed by adding -p (after vowels) ıp-íp (after consonants) to the root of the verb. Although, formally this is not the same as future continuous, you might wish to use it since it does give the same meaning. |
The tense is formed by forming the present continuous for pronouns "he/she/it" and then appending the future indefinite of the (here) auxiliary verb "olacak" for the pronoun you need. |
